Spiced Walnuts
- 2-1/2 c walnuts (or other nuts, I've made it with almonds and also mixed nuts....use the unsalted ones.)
Boil water, sugar, cinnamon and salt, cook to the soft ball stage (when you can drop a little in cold water and then pick it up without it dripping). Remove from heat, add vanilla and nuts and stir. Spread on waxed paper, let cool one hour.
